Here is our adjusted house floor plan with measurements (unfortunately quite small). The south side will follow as an extra post; apparently, a maximum of 5 attachments can be uploaded.

What has changed:

- The dimensions, the house became more compact
- The windows, number increased, size changed
- Kitchen with pantry redesigned and cabinets rearranged
- Lighting for the stairwell upstairs through a fixed glass element in the stairwell
- Facade with wooden elements

What I still don't like very much is the window at the top right on the north facade.

Suggestions, ideas? Bring them on. :)

Best regards

Somersault

... and here the south view. The 3-panel balcony door was replaced by a sliding door.

I might consider making the children's rooms each 5 sqm smaller and then creating an additional workroom... which could possibly also be used as a playroom or for other purposes in case of emergency...

Impressive house. So under 350K just for the house, that probably won't work, right?

I find the floor plan to be an inflated standard floor plan. Functional, yes, but given the size, certainly more "stylish detailed solutions" could be achieved. The space available per child was not even available to the three of us in the first years. If it really should stay that large, I could imagine creating a partition using drywall (play/sleep area). The utility room is very narrow as a "through room" and therefore poorly usable. Maybe rotate the guest WC; that would make the utility room wider. Is there a cloakroom somewhere? If you can really afford to build 190m², you should maybe have an architect take a look. I could imagine that a more original floor plan would come out of that.

Can only agree with the opinions mentioned. The children's rooms are small ballrooms - for what purpose, I ask myself? In a house, the children are usually outside or in the living room anyway. Better to make these rooms smaller and instead have a walk-in closet for the parents or a second small bathroom with at least a shower when the kids are older - queuing up in the bathroom as four people is no fun, especially if one room is supposed to remain a guest room. I don't need my guests in "my" bathroom... ;)

Also, I find the living room quite large downstairs. 30 sqm, which are basically only used for a sofa and a TV - well, I don't know. I could imagine something more sensible there? I’m just picturing the path from the TV to the fridge... :D By the time you’ve gotten your beer, the first half of the game is over... :P
