That's a good tip, I'll measure it again!
I'm also considering making the south-facing window (1.76/1.385) a single fixed pane instead of a double casement window, meaning there would be no mullion anymore that reduces the glass area. But then you would never be able to open it. However, it would probably look good too?
Up to 2 meters wide, it is possible to have two sashes without a mullion... something with a stub? I've forgotten the technical term.
With fixed glass, you can't clean the roller shutters later.
