Not me - since the attic floor only "lacked" ground floors, which in my opinion were dead ends (due to too high a degree of convolution). I am still amused how on the one hand the chimney of the cozy fireplace receives attention close to idolatry, while on the other hand no chimney flue is provided at all for the actual heating. In other words: a lot of fuss about chimney number two, but chimney number one doesn't exist at all ...

Well, I didn't read anything about a gas heating system or anything like that. For example, we have geothermal energy. That doesn't need a chimney. Maybe OP is planning something similar.

I calculated and marked the chimney. I find it quite normal now. However, it's pretty crazy to make so many decisions dependent on the chimney / stove. One might almost think you only really need a tent and a fire pit with a chimney.

I find that annoying too. Just as annoying is making the house dependent on the property, etc. I would also have preferred to build without constraints, but sometimes circumstances don't allow it. The stove is a central point for us, after all, if we are building ourselves, it should at least become somewhat like we imagine it, otherwise we wouldn't have to put ourselves through the stress...

Here again the U-shaped staircase with the chimney more towards the ridge as well as the bathroom and bedroom scaled up. Storage upstairs smaller. Instead, 4.50m wardrobe in the bedroom. Children exactly 14m² floor area. Additionally 3.50m wardrobe in the guest room + 2m cloakroom wardrobe in the hallway.
I wouldn't really see a gain in space or utility compared to the L-shaped staircase variant. I'm curious if the architect can get more out of it here.

Thank you very much, you are really great! You are right, there is no gain compared to the L variant, and an L-shaped staircase also always looks very nice. I will definitely pursue the design further.
