Floor plan design single-family house with around 150 m²

A question just came to my mind... it might not fit 100% with the topic of the floor plan, but an acquaintance just pointed out to me how sensible it would be to have at least exterior blinds on the south side on the ground floor (living room/dining room) instead of roller shutters... this way, the sunlight can be prevented much better, and as burglar protection, I don't need roller shutters.
I'm just surprised that people mostly only talk about roller shutters, and even our house provider didn't mention something like that... are there that many disadvantages, among other things in planning? Because otherwise, I think the advantages of blinds on the living room south side clearly outweigh.

We have venetian blinds on all the windows/patio doors in the living room. Exactly for that reason, to be able to regulate the brightness a bit. Otherwise, aluminum roller shutters are installed. The colors are coordinated with each other.

When are you even inside the house in summer?
The terrace door is usually open and therefore not shaded either.
For that, it is often very windy here, for example.
