For heaven's sake, no. The less you deal with your latest designs, the better. With those, you are on the way to witch's cottage-ization. What might do well as a division in a loft can already overwhelm a floor plan of this size. Even the mid wall jagged like a key bit is borderline, but then adding niches like chocolate sprinkles is too much. I already dread the continuation into the attic without even seeing it drawn. In a building this compactly sized, "division" has to be dosed very cautiously. Therefore: don’t continue down this dead-end path, otherwise the result will be overly fussy.
The question is always how such jagged elements will actually feel when furnished. You won't see anything of the mid wall niche in the living room because it will be completely filled by the chimney. The niche in the guest room won't be a problem either. But you are of course right: the straighter, the more pleasing and calm it naturally appears. The architect can certainly assess this very well and maybe he still has good ideas for niches, etc.
You still have to present him with something, at least a rough idea, so that he can see what you wish for.
