Oh yes – we only have a two-seater. When we have guests, we actually always sit at the table – we specifically made sure to buy chairs that are very comfortable to sit in. And our guests keep confirming that we made the right choice... some have almost developed TOO much sitting endurance...
Good suggestion, I will try to adopt that.
In the living room on the couch we sit less. And if we do, we bought cardboard stools from Remember Products, then you just have to be content with a stool sometimes...
We also have five of these cardboard stools, which are always in use for something and just like with you as extra seats when we have more than 10-12 guests.
I would never put in a monstrosity of a sofa just because guests might sit on it three times a year,
I understand that, but I am unsure about that in regard to myself and my husband, because on our sofa, besides the two of us, lie the cat, notebooks, remote controls, books, magazines, cell phone, headphones...
I would always only furnish the living room as a cozy room for the family that maybe guests are also allowed into once in a while. The guest area is preferably the table / kitchen.
Sounds good.
