Floor plan design single-family house with around 150 m²

I would not do without a shower and guest/bedroom on the ground floor. In case of illness, knee surgery, etc., you don't have to struggle up the stairs. I also have a bathroom and bedroom on the ground floor and no longer want to do without them.

By the way, I have mercilessly installed a floor-to-ceiling window on the ground floor in front of the stairs here. I'm really into that.

I have been wondering for a long time how one can get a window there... does it look good if the stringer runs in front of the window? It is certainly doable, but does it look good? Would a narrow window above the stringer also be possible space-wise?

At the risk of repeating myself: in a house with the latest generation of insulation, a comfort fireplace only runs once in a blue moon. In my opinion, this does not justify it playing a crucial role in the floor plan design.
