Thank you for the interesting design. I also find the children's rooms upstairs a bit small. Can the staircase be reduced so much that they become much larger? I do think they should be at least 14 m². I find that a good size. I find the hallway/internet room next to the stairs somewhat wasted space, as there are also slopes in that area. This room will probably be missing from the children's rooms. I find placing the chimney like this interesting, but it will probably be too far to the right side of the plan, as will the fireplace. Since there needs to be clearance next to the fireplace, there won’t be much space left opposite the couch for TV, shelves, etc. The chimney probably cannot run through the load-bearing wall either. Because of this horizontally running staircase, the rooms on the right and left on the upper floor are already very limited in size; I think the narrower the staircase in width, the better. Since a vertical staircase is probably not possible due to the shallow depth (?), you will probably have to go for a U-shaped staircase?
