5. Roof window in the attic: among other reasons, this was why the whole mess had to be taken down again and the roof re-covered

Well, that certainly took long enough. Last week the final bill for the construction electricity for 3.5 years arrived: €7,500.00 additional payment!!!!!! And we had been paying a monthly installment of €100. In total over €11,000 for construction electricity. Is that even possible?

We had approximately €3800 for construction electricity during one year of construction time.

Very nice that the construction is finally coming to an end. Hopefully the legal matters too, somehow. :)
It somehow went quite quickly now when I think of all the defects. But I can't scroll back right now.


Sure... electric heaters of the craftsmen in winter, halogen floodlights, incandescent bulbs disguised as blue lights, screed heating, construction dryers, machines... that runs up the meter. And you have a semi-detached house, so everything times two. But maybe 33 kWh per day on average over 3 years? ... Maybe not so clear after all.
