This is pack-like boxing below the belt. You can see that when you read the course of events. Once one starts, the others follow.

What do you mean by well-intentioned advice? Comparing me to a gambling addict who doesn't understand the end, as was kindly written?

Unfortunately, I see it the same way. It's no longer about the matter, but about wanting to prove to me how stupid I am, because my learning curve and self-reflection do not meet the standards of those expressing their opinions.

You are on the way from the house plan to the defect-free house. There are many detours, and some lead to a building ruin and 3-5 insolvent general contractors, and you have been right in all instances. Be careful at your detours not to lose the goal and not to always be right.

Being right should not be something reprehensible, or am I mistaken? We don't need to discuss that being right and getting justice are not the same.

thinks otherwise. You believe you know things and are right, which, as one can read in the screed topic, is not the case. A polystyrene carrier for a tub is not mandatory, and screed with underfloor heating is not a no-go. If your preferred installation method had been important to you, you should have told the screed layer that the screed needed to be stopped. But for that, you would have had to inform him of the size of the tub and up to where the screed should be stopped.
