300 € is still reasonable. In medical law, I know others :-)If I tell you now that his hourly rate is 300 €, you will probably regret your career choice ;).

In the many psychosomatic rehabilitation clinics in Germany, you find professions well distributed, from bank directors, colonels, educators, and also lawyers. I am often in court but do not know whether that or any of it would be my preferred choice; the hourly rate would influence that less, since there is often sufficient compensation for pain and suffering. From what I have read so far, really terrible things have happened to you. Nevertheless, I would want to give some more thought to how I want to design the time AFTER my construction. I still remember a case in my own life where, according to my lawyer, I had the best prospects of success or at least a significant partial success. Considering the expected duration (my lifetime!) as well as the tenacity and lasting burden on my private life, he advised me to accept the situation; he said I looked very worn out by this issue. After thinking about it over a weekend, I decided to give in and waive it, but to fill the coming time with positive things. I did that and am still glad about it today. Currently, I could really and massively shoot our landlord in the knee without much need for proof, who has demonstrably deceived and cheated us and another couple, as well as the building and tax authorities, in the originally intended condominium sale. As far as I know us, however, when we soon move into our expanded shell construction, we will no longer burden our lives with these tough, nerve-wracking things, because........ You will most likely not really win..... Courts like settlements and want the files off the table. Justice is a flexible term and “getting the law” is often a matter of luck. As I said..... just thoughts......If I tell you now that his hourly rate is 300 €, you will probably be annoyed about your career choice;).
Yes, after I got over the initial shock, I googled it. In Munich, the hourly rate is double. Fortunately, we found an arrangement acceptable to me.300 € ist noch human. Im Medizinrecht kenne ich da andere :)
I can only agree with everything you said. Especially the above quote. I have experienced that myself. Total amount in dispute approx. €400,000. What makes it worse: being right and getting justice are unfortunately not the same. I was completely exploited in the aforementioned amount. But a single signature of mine, made at a tender age of 20, made everything legal. The consequence: 5 years of litigation, a marriage nearly broken because of it, €50,000 in costs and lost in the end anyway. edit: the full package, with appeal up to the Higher Regional Court, because everyone said I couldn't lose that. You will most likely not truly win.....Courts prefer settlements and the files off the table. Justice is a flexible term and getting "the law" often depends on luck. As I said.....just thoughts......
