Sorry, I probably overlooked that (I actually waded through almost everything). I of course respect that and also very clearly: Good luck with your strategy! Maybe in the end it will prove you right. None of us can really predict that! And what I really admire is your, at least from the outside readable, calmness in dealing with the subject. I believe "concrete shoes" have already been mentioned and I don’t want to rule out that I may have once threatened your butcher with them  Best regards Burkhard

And that is exactly the problem. You might have tricked GU1 until he buried the GmbH. GU2 could never economically finish the house at the indicated price. I am curious to see what GU3 will do. If he demands a realistic price, you probably can't afford him. If he also continues with the dumping prices, then this thread will go on for a long time and the pessimists here will be proven right.

What is supposed to mean: You might have fooled GU1 until he buried the GmbH? We fooled GU1??? I think you are misunderstanding something here. Of course GU2 could have finished the house at the contractually agreed price if he hadn’t wasted several tens of thousands of euros. And you’ll probably have to wait a long time for GU3.

That will actually show in the end. Composure, well, I would rather call it confidence. I have now acquired that after I realized that driving yourself mad brings nothing except sleepless nights. Do you mean by sifted through almost the entire thing the 1st thread?

What really annoys me is such nonsense:

yepp, it was a bit gone ...

I can only agree with that. The opposite is true. The general contractor tried to "pull a fast one" on you with additional claims, but it didn’t work (too much knowledge of contract law on the part of the client)

Thank you. I don’t know how the smart aleck comes to his version of events. But that is a distortion of facts and makes me extremely angry after all we had to go through with this general contractor and how close we really were to giving up.
