: Have you ever dealt with a construction law lawyer? He won't take the risk of not getting paid in the end. Do you know what a lawyer's hour currently costs? 250 € net! And before he has even read through the documents, you're out 2,000 €. "Due to the high demands, the lawyer can charge a reasonable lawyer's fee as soon as he accepts assignments from a client." Smart advice is nice, but impractical.

The lawyer might be the only legitimate example.

Tell me something about the "stairs no-delivery guy" as another example ;-)

What I would also doubt. I could still understand a down payment for reading in - but straight 10K? By the way, we also currently have a specialist construction lawyer in use. There is no advance payment.

Well, the lawyer probably understood that this is someone who watches every cent very closely. That is the next consistent line in the behavior. Only the focus on money, if it doesn’t work 100%, there is arguing and suing. With such clients, I would also only work on advance payment, if at all.

That those who tell you what you want to hear are allies and everyone else is personally against you?
