There were once 2 other threads, with a total of certainly 300 pages ;)

It’s not necessarily. But if you talk like a know-it-all, then you should also know the context. I have an opinion on the topic of why the worst craftsmen and contractors of all time were gathered in one place here. Since we have already discussed that, I’ll stay out of it now ;)

So we specifically hired a carpentry company that has been established for 60 years from the neighboring town with whom our family already realized the same roof structure 20 years ago…

Everything that could go wrong did go wrong and we have been in a legal dispute for 3 years…

I, on the other hand, cannot understand how people can talk so cleverly (-;

What I laugh at is not for others to decide, sorry xD And sugarcoating everything has a term: Toxic Positivity. I do not support that. When you watch such documentaries, some people really believed they would get a house for 150k€, and then wonder why it's a mess? - Sorry but I have no sympathy for that

Everything worked for me with three offers per trade and a fixed sum. I only worked with reputable craftsmen. Everyone signed the construction contract without grumbling. (Because everyone knew they would do their work properly). Was I lucky? I don’t think so, but rather believe I did it right. And I’m not talking cleverly, more reproachfully. In the sense of, how can anyone be so naïve?

No one tried that either.

One has nothing to do with the other.

You should watch fewer reports and rather see the world around you. And if your neighbor thought something like that and made mistakes with it, now stands in front of a pile of rubble, and you laugh mercilessly across the fence, then you are really to be pitied. Sorry!

I do that with pleasure. Neighbors have now laid carpet on the screed so they can finally move into their unfinished house after living in a caravan for 2 years. They themselves said they wanted to save €40,000 on the final finish ... it worked great... For that, they moved from the city to our countryside because the building plot was so nice and cheap here. And with that, they "stole" the last building plot from someone who seriously wanted to build a proper house. Since then, there has been a selection process for new building plots ... thank God
