Against better knowledge, I will do it anyway. Whether bad luck or coincidence does not matter at all. The fact is, you first need to have the money and the nerves to sue in this country. Many would like to do that and probably also have chances of success, but shy away from the not insignificant risk. You probably have no idea what a lawsuit against a general contractor costs with a dispute value of about €400,000. So far, we have had to cough up €47,000 for our legal disputes! We have gotten part of that back, but we still have a long way to go. What is the alternative if, for example, the stair builder demanded and received €5,000 deposit 2 years ago and still has not delivered? Wait and drink tea? But sure, for you the actual problem is very, very clear.........:rolleyes:
