Many would like to do that and probably also have chances of success, but shy away from the not insignificant risk. You probably have no idea what a lawsuit against a general contractor costs with a dispute value of about €400,000. So far, we have had to cough up €47,000 for our legal disputes! We have gotten part of that back, but we still have a long way to go. What is the alternative if, for example, the stair builder demanded and received €5,000 deposit 2 years ago and still has not delivered? Wait and drink tea? But sure, for you the actual problem is very, very clear.........:rolleyes:
