That is the option that is out of the question. Just the plot alone has almost 1,800 sqm. As you surely know, you don’t get those thrown at you these days.

But the question is what you can reasonably salvage there. I can't imagine a reputable general contractor would venture into such a minefield and take over the mistakes of their predecessors. Regardless of the price. The market is simply too good right now. If you want to finish building the house, you will probably have to contract the trades individually. For that, you need a reputable architect/engineer who coordinates everything and can get craftsmen through connections. You will probably need a considerable amount of money to first undo all the mistakes. I wouldn't count on GU2 anymore. It's nice and all that he still has real estate, but you yourself don't know if they aren't already encumbered elsewhere. Someone who causes that much shoddy work certainly doesn't only do it on your house.

So, enough of the good advice now. I know you mean well. But it doesn't help me. Do you really think a lawyer would recommend a construction company that he might later have to sue? Let me handle it, I'll manage.

The whole thing is a bit like Fitzcarraldo. The house is the ship and is Klaus Kinski.

It all reads like a gambling addict who can't accept the end because they've already put so much into the machine. They aren't even open to advice. Rather, they cling to a straw that's already bending and drawing air.
