I don’t know in which construction phase you are right now, but I can only hope for you that your laughter doesn’t fade. Because 1. things famously turn out differently than 2. you think. Acquaintances hired the locally best-known and most expensive company, and they messed up the order five times. By the way, I’m not building for the first time, but for the second. The first time everything went smoothly, the second time almost everything went wrong. And I wouldn’t rely on advertising signs for a long time anymore. A good company doesn’t need them. But in the end, you’re always wiser.

As I see it, you have to marry into a good craftsman family and then do as much as possible yourself. Kit house!
Could actually be worth it. 2 years sabbatical might cost you 200k EUR, 50k EUR kit, another 200k EUR interior finishing, 50k EUR exterior facilities, 50k EUR incidental costs, 50k EUR helper wages. That’s also 600k EUR, but you don’t necessarily have to pay yourself a full salary and craftsmen are getting more and more expensive.
Of course, it’s all useless if there are no more materials.
