I’m with you on that. No construction will run without mistakes. The question is whether you fight to make the house livable or you get annoyed about the appearance.

Price can be a cause. At too low prices, craftsmen don’t come at all. The window installer clearly said he only works for general contractors who pay fairly and well. The tiler is similar. The painters and plasterers as well. Builders who they got along with are accepted follow-up orders or get recommended.

Only one builder comes to mind here in the forum with really shoddy work, and he did not build cheaply

If we are talking about the same (R.H.), the problem here was less "botched construction" and more a complete failure of all parties involved (including and especially the client) during the planning phase. I remember terrace doors with a raw construction height of 201 cm, downpipes running through the study, children's room, and kitchen, as well as a window in the dressing room that was 2.5 cm off the absolute center of the room... A highly individual custom building project that was supposed to be implemented by a project house general contractor and a client who either could not or did not want to deal with the matter themselves.

Let's try to stay objective. I am also more interested in the house than who used the wrong tone when and how, or didn't.

So, : When do you think the house construction will continue? What result are the lawyers waiting for to give the green light to start the defect repair? What timeline have the lawyers predicted?
