A radiator, you just set the thermostat to one and that's fine. If you want it a bit warmer, set it to two, and that’s quick and easy. So, I actually find the radiator better in bedrooms. Unfortunately, no one advised us that way.
With underfloor heating, you can also turn the room off completely. Of course, it doesn’t get warm quickly if you want it to, but in the bedroom, that’s not necessary. You said that yourself. Cooling down individual rooms in the house is also counterproductive.
A radiator in a heating system designed for underfloor heating, on the other hand, causes additional problems. Either it has to be huge to operate with the same supply temperatures, or you add a second heating circuit to the system with the usual higher temperatures for radiators. But that means more hydraulics in the heating cabinet, more controls, and of course more losses simply because the heating water must be heated twice as warm as usual for underfloor heating.
In such a case—i.e. with window-open sleepers—underfloor heating is certainly not optimal, in my opinion. It then heats completely without purpose.
Just turn it down to frost protection. Problem solved.
We can regulate the temperature of the underfloor heating individually in the rooms. So it’s no problem to have the bedroom cooler or turn it off completely for window-open sleepers..
Exactly... if you want ERR and it works, then it’s also possible.
We can do that too.... only somehow it’s like this: it’s fine with 21, but 15 is not really liked, it’s always too warm.
Then I would have the plumber/heating technician come and take another look.
Brrrrr 15°
