Hello Hannah78
It seems your topic is still not "settled"...
Unfortunately, there is such a terrible "wishy-washy" attitude with these house type or architectural style descriptions. Everyone basically writes whatever they want... as in what they want to offer... no matter how, the main thing is that the thing sounds good.
Maybe you could post a view or, even better, a cross-section here (as an image or pdf attachment) so that people might be able to help you better.
City villa... Tuscan house... all these names basically apply, if that's what is meant, to 2 full stories... so 2 times straight walls and straight ceilings... the roof above.
If that were the case, the roller shutters, as the building expert already mentioned, would not matter at all. They always fit! Fundamentally!
If you bought a house with a knee wall... let's assume here 2.00 m, this does not correspond to the typical architectural style of a city villa or a villa in Tuscan style... and even if it did, the question then arises, if windows are planned on the knee wall side, what about the parapet height there? Or are these just narrow window bands? Which again would not fit the two house types.
That providers today often omit roller shutters in their offers unfortunately happens very often... but this is usually triggered by the apparently cheap offer.
Structurally, there are only a few exceptions where a floor height increase becomes necessary... which, however, depends on the basic construction.
But this is usually already recognizable in the offer drawing!
Ultimately, it may really be advisable to bring an independent construction consultant on board... even if this costs a bit, it usually saves you more money than it actually costs. As a layperson, you will never recognize the fine but often expensive additional charges, often hidden details. At least not until they come up as a question and you have to purchase them without any other possibility of comparison... or you ultimately let it be... and decide against this extra cost... so you stay with the standard.
