We wanted to control a few roller shutters (living-dining room and easily reachable windows) centrally with a remote control, but the rest with normal switches. What would such a concept look like? Can the roller shutters still be operated manually?

You can still switch them manually. I would reconsider a central [Uhr].

Very briefly:
Why?
What concept do you propose?

Blinds that can only be operated individually are usually left unused after a while. Few people feel like walking through the apartment every morning and evening to operate the individual control points.

Therefore, one or even two central timers for the blinds, in addition to individual control points on site. The radio remote control can still be used. Either the receiver is located directly in the motor or external receivers such as systems from HomeMatic FS20 etc. are used. My favorite would be the FS20; they do have the disadvantage that there is no feedback channel (i.e., there is no confirmation to the remote control whether the blind actually moves down or not), but this disadvantage can be disregarded since you usually see or hear whether the command is processed. Moreover, the FS20 system can work together with the Lighmanager from JBMedia. In combination with a Logitech Harmony remote control, this is a nice and cost-effective solution to achieve partial automation of the shutters. Additionally, this model and especially the remote control from Logitech have a very high WAF (woman acceptance factor) due to their very, very simple operation; only the initial programming is labor-intensive but also feasible for laypersons.

Best regards

A clock can be programmed multiple times at all conceivable times, the astro function is also quite nice. Likewise, it can also be set to manual and it only responds to button presses. Alternatively, instead of a clock, a central on/off switch. It would be interesting now to see the power consumption of your 5 radio receivers when they are not being addressed in order to estimate the annual electricity costs. (Power in standby * 5 units * 24h * 365 days) : 1000 = annual consumption in kWh kWh * €0.28 = annual electricity costs

Whether the effort is worth it for something, I cannot answer, as long as you are not even clear about what you want.
