So I just charged normally at a supermarket parking lot with a Sparkasse AC charging station. Also in Munich, Am Haag 12 in Gräfelfing it costs 60 cents. I can't really see much of a benefit since it's apparently cheaper for you. And that was also AC, so no fast charging! My electric car uses 25kWh per 100 km and with my gasoline car I last refueled for 1.76 euros, so I beat that. But you can gladly calculate everything nicely, best to use the free electricity from the photovoltaic system as a comparison.

That would of course be optimal, but apart from being on vacation you should at least be able to charge at home for about 35 cents or so. Then the additional costs of €10,000 might eventually be worthwhile again.

And how do the millions of people who cannot install their own photovoltaic system on the rental building do it? For them, switching to electric cars means that driving becomes significantly more expensive than before. In addition, the car itself is also much more expensive.

There may still be some possibilities with battery technology to reduce costs. At least I would hope so.
Until 2035, combustion engine vehicles can still be bought and there is no ban on using an existing combustion engine vehicle. That makes a total of 25 years. Let’s see where we stand then.

Renters must be given the opportunity to charge at the regular electricity tariff as well. Have I already mentioned that I am a fan of obligations for landlords? ;) It won’t be such a big deal to electrify all parking spaces by 2035.

Question:
Why not charge the car at home with a normal socket during idle times? It takes a long time, but the car is parked for a long time anyway, especially at night. And that's more than enough for the kilometers of everyday driving.

Then you honestly have to use the average price per kWh charged.

Here it is calculated as if you can only get electricity outside for 60 cents / kWh…

Fact check:
Q3 gasoline from 2019 according to Spritmonitor average over all entries: 8.7l/100km
Q4 E-Tron from 2019 according to Spritmonitor average over all entries: 20.4kWh/100km

Can be done at home for a normal electricity price of 20-40 cents or photovoltaic for 6-8 cents/kWh.
Or for free at the employer, etc.,

If the statement now comes that millions of Germans cannot do that:
No problem for a detached house, so for people in this forum.
And tenants also have the right to install a wallbox.

That is indeed correct.
