In math it is already extreme. Reading and writing so far have no different levels, each class is at its own level. For the children it is good, for the teachers extra work. With our current teacher it works simply. She really is a dream. Warm, consistent, committed. Keeps an eye on every child and has the parents under control. Hopefully the principal doesn't drive her away again. The teacher would still like to stay “for now.” The school board has to decide. Although we are a village school, we are not so small that the classes have to be taught mixed-age. About 20 years ago the community reduced from 8 elementary school sites to 2. There are currently about 350 elementary school children spread over 2 locations.

In my opinion, the long career path is also problematic. First 5 years of a master's degree, realistically rather 6, and then another 1.5 years of teacher training for less than minimum wage. You have to want that. Elsewhere you can start with a bachelor's degree after 3-4 years. And despite the long education, there is far too little focus on "teaching" during it. Preferably the 10th subject-related extension, even though you already covered 90% of the subject matter after the Abitur.

Just yesterday I spoke with a colleague from Berlin. According to him, both children go to private school; above a certain income level, this is normal. Public schools are avoided wherever possible.

For us, it is also very borderline, class size 25 children, teachers often sick, children are then simply split into other classes. Learning effect almost nonexistent.

With such bold claims, some evidence would be appropriate.
The Greens have by far the largest voter base among those under 40, and certainly the majority of them do not own a home.

Apart from that... is it known where the "middle class" starts by definition? It is the middle third of society, and hardly the majority of them own a home either.

Hollow AfD phrases, nothing more.

In return, a life of security awaits, because of private health insurance, tenure, and a salary that even many engineers in the private sector don’t reach. Oh, and 70% pension...

And what income are we talking about? 200,000 gross? 1,000 EUR for a private school/month would never be possible for us, despite >100,000 gross.
