Private schools are much cheaper. I have something like €160 as a limit for public private schools in mind. Because even "private" schools operate for the vast majority on state money and therefore are not allowed to sharply select based on their fees. Our little one will probably also go to a private school. Less because the public schools in BW are bad, but more because the nearest Gymnasium from our place is a Catholic girls' Gymnasium (yes, that still exists ;) ) with a good reputation. That makes the decision easy and we will gladly invest the money in education and not in a vacation

A broker unfortunately still gets so much commission that too many black sheep will operate part-time in this field :(

Whether a gymnasium where they are only in contact with girls until grade 13 prepares better for life than a normal school...

Those who learn to live in a bubble are more likely to struggle when they leave the bubble. And working life is, unfortunately(?), not a girls' gymnasium...
