These climate clowns talk about the 9 euro ticket and a 100 speed limit. I seriously ask, what is that supposed to be? Why don’t they develop a concept that can be discussed? Why don’t they behave like adults? Why do most of them have no job, education, or a somewhat reasonable demeanor?

Besides climate change, there are many other very important issues currently in our country. Should every group now stick themselves to the street or commit other crimes? Do we want to treat each other like this? I am very relieved that according to surveys 90 to 95% strictly reject these climate owls.

To get back to the topic: Climate change is a huge opportunity for us. Mini nuclear power plants, photovoltaics, wind power, hydrogen, IT control, AI experts and much more offer prosperity and future prospects. This must be promoted and companies urgently need planning security for their investments.

What is the point of the question? It implies there could be a difference for sea level if additional water vapor was formed from ice instead of seawater. But there isn’t. The residence time of water vapor in the atmosphere is on average a few days before it rains out. It is constantly being newly formed – from liquid water, what else? Otherwise, water is also a greenhouse gas. So it is a positive feedback that amplifies global warming. Precipitation becomes stronger with more water, what else? There is also more snow instead of less in places where snow can fall when it is overall warmer. Cloud formation is generally not well representable because the spatial resolution of climate models is too coarse for this. THAT is quite unclear, so I cannot answer this question.

That basically says it all. Even though I often do not agree with your statements, I can no longer tolerate this kindergarten club on the streets either.

This will probably be the new "construction costs are skyrocketing" thread here.

I also think electric cars are great, but with my driving profile, namely 120km on the highway daily, I will first drive diesel. Consumption is currently 5.5l.

The electric car will then be the second car and will only be charged at home via AC. I don’t want to deal with the DC stuff, unless the car is leased.

Of course, there are other problems in the world, but as always, in the end it’s a question of priorities. And I see that climate change is taken more seriously by people whose own life expectancy is beyond 2050. I also have the feeling that young people engage more closely with the issue. For them, it’s not abstract scaremongering; they know about the tipping points, what is really at stake, and how soon.

I really don’t want to approve of their form of protest. But I can understand where their frustration comes from. They had protested peacefully for years before. Not only did nothing change, they were simply not taken seriously by arrogant old men despite sometimes remarkable expertise. That after a while they lose their patience, I at least have empathy for that. Nevertheless, I believe that their actions do more harm than good to the movement as a whole.

That's true, and at the same time I have a problem with your wording. The old white men, who for the most part were very hardworking, committed, and determined in their lives and first built our prosperity, also for their children, do not want to watch climate activists drive the cart at full speed and without sense into a concrete wall. Understandable, right? Both sides have legitimate interests.

For example, if industries move away from here because there is no openness to technology, planning security, or energy costs are too high, then the products will be made in countries with significantly worse conditions. This leads to much greater environmental pollution and significantly worse working conditions.

The Bali vacationers of the climate owls have unfortunately severely damaged the movement. The prejudice that the same young people who protest at FFF like to shop at Primark, often travel on vacation, and pollute the landscape with trash has been confirmed for many critics.
