I actually thought you could have read the sarcasm

That’s right. But the OP keeps posting his/her nonsense. Everything that has a beginning must also have an end. This whole discussion leads to nothing.

Must be a very bitter person.

You still don’t disclose anything. What do you spend how much on? What is the savings rate? If you are really frugal, you should be putting aside €2000-2500 per month. What you forget is that although prices were nominally lower in the past, so were the salaries.

You write that several people said you shouldn't buy anything with your income.

After reading all 19 pages, I didn't read a single post in that direction. On the contrary! Many posts confirm the statement that with your income, you can definitely buy something.

The rest of the whining, mimimi, and the political blah blah don't belong here. You can get that off your chest at the regulars' table.

That might be funny for someone who doesn’t understand the procedure and is as dumb as a rock. An auction is still the solution for those who are in distress, for whatever reason.

Just because one out of a hundred here understands you, doesn’t mean you are right or see things clearly. You both are crazy.
However, you are the only one twisting the facts here.

Who then? That’s not true at all! You lie like there’s no tomorrow. That’s bottom of the barrel.

No one here can endure that whining…

Who are you comparing yourself to? We all have our rent or installments, no one here whines like you… that’s pure propaganda!

You know what? Just put your IBAN and contact info here, then we’ll donate to you, you poor, poor soul!

What I also wanted to get off my chest.
Some have written that we should just buy and that we are able to do so:
But are you actually aware of the fact that the current prices for real estate don’t reflect that value at all?
Is it really fair when, for example, 600,000 is demanded for a house, although it may REALLY be worth half of that?
Sure, you may not mind, but it’s not fair, and why should one enrich oneself on the backs of others?
And it is still unrealistic to finance such a property with our salary, because it only takes once
for the heating to break down OR (and that would be the worst), for the base interest rate to rise to infinity and the fixed interest period
to expire at that time. By the way, many people will experience exactly that next year and will lose their own homes because of this policy, which – as I also believe now – is even politically intended, because the state actually doesn’t want
people who are independent and own property! It is also supported by the fact that starting in 2025 all renovations must comply with
the latest standards, which will lead many people to have to sell properties in need of renovation because
they simply can no longer afford it. It is basically all expropriation through the back door

What do you do with your money then? We have a similar income, no children, and €1,500 fixed costs/month for housing. Very comparable. We have an additional €280 expenses for part-time studies. We spend well over €100 per week on groceries (hobby: good cooking). We sometimes order food in the evening or go out. For enjoyment, there are a few subscriptions and outings. Still, we have a €1,200 surplus each month. Although we live well and not frugally.

YOU(!) should calculate where you are throwing all the money before whining here; with €5,200/month you could not afford your own home. Of course you can, with reserves. If you can’t do that, it’s not because of others, but yourselves. You are not a single mother kindergarten teacher in Munich.

In truth, you wanted to talk about something completely different, used this as a hook, and are happy that we stupidly react to it, right? And if the “Bausparfuchs” joins in… Nightingale, I hear you trotting.
