Home financing ever possible? Probably not!

Such exaggerated nonsense. We continue to live very comfortably on our 4800€... yes, the electricity and heating prices have doubled and groceries have become more expensive too, but making such a drama out of it and blaming migrants is populist nonsense... In other income brackets, that is really a problem, but not with 5200 net.

That is complete nonsense. There are more than enough properties that can still be easily purchased today. I don’t know if, for example, I would want to be found dead over the fence in Ruppicheroth, but the district is so large that there are plenty of properties. New builds may become more difficult – but since we will probably never hear anything about creditworthiness anyway, the matter is a done deal.

... I think, quoted this sentence rather ironically, because in the same post it was then reported how moved his house.

Better to be in debt now than to have a credit balance :)

THANK YOU!

Finally, someone understands!

And according to Mrs. Merkel, we live in the BEST Germany of all time!!!

Several times now, the creditworthiness has been asked here. I can gladly answer that, although it is actually irrelevant because it won’t change anything about the situation. By now, others have also written here that it would be better to refrain from a purchase with our money.

Out of our 5200€, we pay 1400€ monthly (this also includes additional costs such as electricity, gas, and water).

But then the living expenses come on top: Inflation is currently devouring everything. A weekly grocery shopping trip, for which I paid 60€ two years ago, now costs almost 100€, and generally all things have become more expensive. I have to say that overall we are very economical and do not buy new clothes every month, as maybe others do.

And as said, rent is the main cost factor that other people who don’t work simply don’t have. Whether and to what extent this burdens us, however, does not interest those responsible, because as a member of the Bundestag with a salary of almost 15,000€ monthly (expense allowance + flat rate), of course you don’t have to face all such questions (and can make decisions that you do not have to bear responsibility for yourself, but others do)!!!

Of course, we also try to save money every month and we do. But that is only possible because we rent (and even so it is getting more expensive). Social insurance contributions will also go up again next year.

Right, in real terms 5200€ no longer have the value either, but the number has halved.

And at the same time, our social systems are further flooded with people, and the number of contributors does not increase but remains the same and constantly decreases.

What is being done here is simply horrible.
I still find it remarkable that one is labeled as far-right for such an opinion. I also find it funny that apparently nobody here would have a problem profiting from compulsory auctions, although people have already committed suicide because of them. But racism is of course very bad – all right!

Hello Rick, it is often said that interest rates were higher in the past, but it is forgotten that prices were much lower back then. And now the interest rates are still rising on top of that. As I said, it is a mystery to me how anyone can say that we can afford that with our money. I would really like to see it calculated by those people. (Of course, one could even buy something worth 1 million euros with a salary of 1000€. In fact, you would never pay off that amount in your lifetime. THAT is always possible, and that is probably what most people here mean. However, I do not want to grow old in my house while still paying off the property, but that is apparently hard for some to understand.)
