Our big boss has been driving an electric car for a year... he covers 60,000 km a year with it. Recently, at the Christmas party, he was 30 minutes late because he had to charge again shortly before arrival. He took it with humor ;) It works if you want. You have to charge every 300-400 km... but you should take a break and stretch your legs every 3-4 hours anyway...

If the big boss arrives late or has downtime because of it... unbelievable. I would cough at my CEOs a bit. They are way too expensive for that. Better to have chauffeurs or a helicopter instead...

My big boss is not a CEO, there are like 3 or 4 more levels above. But sure, you go to the CEO and cough on them. At least that's what you dream ;)

Apart from that, it doesn't matter whether he works 60 or 80 hours a week, it costs the same. He isn't paid according to the collective agreement and records overtime and extra work from 35 hours onwards, just like me ;)

You don't realize that the CEOs are my employees, do you? It is important that they work efficiently and also have enough free time. Only then is good work possible. Missing appointments because they are standing at a charging station is neither. At a party, that might not be so bad…

Sorry, but what nonsense. The new gasoline cars, for example an Audi Q3, average about 6 to 7 liters per 100 km. I'm driving one right now. An electric car averages 20 to 25 kWh/100 km annually. Most providers charge over 70 cents for fast charging. AC charging at least 40 cents.

Economically, it's no longer viable. Purchase price at least 10k higher.

Whether it's good for the environment depends on the electricity mix and the usage profile.
