Save what can be saved. What else are you supposed to do?
In the education system, given the current staffing situation, triage is necessary, just like in the medical field.

That means, in case of doubt, leaving Kevin, who doesn't do anything even after the 10th request, aside (it probably won't bother him) and focusing on the 2, 3, 5 students who show interest.

And if anyone thinks I don't know what I'm talking about... I passed my intermediate school leaving certificate with a 3.6, repeated the 11th grade, dropped out of high school... then did an apprenticeship... and completed my electrical engineering degree with a 1.2 with honors... it’s possible if you want to.

...*cough* ... at least among veterinary students, there have been massive shifts in the last 20 to 30 years. It used to be mostly men. But then the girls had a classic surplus because the NC (numerus clausus) is decisive. In the case of educators, it is the low pay and hardly any opportunities for advancement. OK, with nail designers I might still agree with you.

Aha. One googles "students of veterinary medicine by gender until 2021."
The proportion of women is relatively constant at 80-90%.

Which leads me to the bold conclusion that one's own bubble rarely constitutes a good argument.
Therefore, we have statistics for almost everything. They may be inaccurate in individual cases, but for the big picture, they are an indispensable fact.

Now, I cannot draw any conclusions from the term "earlier." However, I assume it refers to before 2000.
I am arguing here from the standpoint of 2000 onward, as that represents my active professional phase.
How it was in the Empire, I do not know and, to be honest, do not want to know.

It’s not that I wouldn’t basically agree with you. The reality often doesn’t allow it. Sometimes Kevin also disturbs so much that the rest can’t learn. And my options to stop this disturbance are… limited. And now?

Twenty years is a blink of an eye. I used to work in a veterinary practice and know that from my former bosses. The youngest of them is already fifty now. So get away from me with "my" bubble.

Shall we come back to the civil servant pension? A major nationwide daily newspaper headlines in large print: "Cut civil servant pensions!". At least that is what the economic expert Martin Werding demands because it is simply no longer sustainable.
