Ok, I’m now finally out of here, I don’t have to put up with this!

Still, many thanks again to Katja and to everyone who "really" helped me make progress!

I really can't understand the excitement. I don't know what got Zaba upset. I see it exactly like Franky. You join a forum to ask questions. You don't have to answer if it annoys you.

And yes, there are also people who plunge headfirst into building a house without having thought it through carefully. Others study the financial needs for 3 years beforehand. So what? It's not your money, Zaba. On the contrary. I find it really exciting how Franky is managing it now.

Don't see it as so bad either. I believe if I look at the first 12 months in fast forward, it looks similar. The pretty houses from the commercials are really nice and quite affordable. That a lot is withheld and that it is a house, but nothing more, I guess everyone has to learn that.

Basically, you're right Katja, but here questions are being asked constantly that an adult person could find out by googling for 2 minutes. Not even that effort is made. Unfortunately, I can't find the post by Franky that I referred to anymore. Unfortunately, there's too much confusion here in the thread.

But maybe Franky just showed up here too early with his idea and his level of information. Maybe I expect too much. Maybe I'm the only one who thinks so. No idea.

So I read it differently. Franky has already inquired. It's just hard for him to judge who is just blowing smoke or where the prices are reasonable. It was the same for me as a newcomer to construction. That's why he's asking again. I don't think that's wrong. If it's nonsense, answers simply won't come. But he notices that himself.

By the way, I was referring to this comment. There are architects or general contractors who charge thousands of euros for this phase and have to be patient because the other party does not even want to google the m2 price of laminate installation.

Regarding the pros and cons with alternatives and prices of each individual item, not only I would probably no longer have the patience.

Sorry for that but after the last 30 pages, this really had to come out.
