Why? Shouldn't it just be a small one?

I already told you what a balcony costs. Have you found a lost suitcase full of money somewhere in the meantime? You will only be able to finalize after signing the general contractor contract. That means you won't know exactly in advance whether 10k€, 20k€ or an additional 30k€ will be added. 8k€ ancillary construction costs are ridiculous; they don't even cover the house connections for telephone, water, electricity, gas, sewage (i.e. the internal infrastructure). What about the drainage, 2x inspection chambers + possibly a cistern + piping? Usually, the steel position is also insufficiently considered, as it depends on the structural engineering of the respective house. Several thousand euros can easily be hidden there. But you'll only realize that after signing the contract. So save your money and stop dreaming about bay windows and balconies. Treat yourself to a large lift-and-slide door with 3-4m instead; you'll get more out of that.

Hehe, yep. Balcony and bay window. The loan will probably be bigger after all. You mean like at ->Google: Danwood Point 150.13 Grasbrunn?

Where is there a bay window?

Yes, although this house would then have two bay windows. In this variant, there would still be living space under the balcony, but if the terrace were partially covered, that would also be enough for us.

But Zaba is of course also right with his concerns. The house I/we mentioned from Scanhaus Marlow Marlow (SH 142 Drempel FS) already had a bay window in it and was listed there from 192k including the foundation slab. Therefore, I thought with additional extras there would still be some leeway – of course, I don’t forget all the costs for the plot.

That is a captain's gable, not a bay window.
