You have an offer and you ask here if it is appropriate? Why don’t you get comparative offers yourself? Why don’t you look yourself to see what they might differ in? Only the price per meter? Or does one offer include additional materials needed that the other offer lacks? Delivery costs? Returns?

As has been mentioned here several times: you learn immensely from this! You get a feeling for where to look specifically next time, what to pay attention to.

Man, you are still waiting here for delivery! And you wonder when people blame you for it...

You are already looking for a fence, honestly, nice if you have nothing else to do, otherwise I quote myself: don’t put the roof on before the foundation!

At the moment there are more important things than choosing the fence, believe me...

I have comparative quotes! What does this have to do with suppliers again, when you're asking here about the experience values of others? Why do people here always give the house price, land price, garage price, etc. and ask if they are justified? Oh yes, suppliers, better get comparative quotes yourselves and don't ask stupid questions here! With your way of thinking, you might as well just shut down the forum!

You shouldn't talk about mid-range quality or price if you don't know where €20 lands. In a good online retailer, prices start at €15 and go up to €125. €50 is a good middle ground. If you're only looking online at hardware stores, you'll get hardware store prices, but not those in the common retail trade. Even if you base yourself on hardware store prices, these prices are not the standard for options but the cheapest of the cheap. And even if we're not talking about quality here yet, it is certain that the most expensive product at Hornbach does not come close to the goods in the mid-price segment at specialist stores. But since you don't mean hardware store goods, you have to set your €25 goods accordingly. Since we have laid carpet and also chosen ourselves, I know the differences between a €20 and €50 or even €70 carpet ... felt many times, also from my husband.

But if you have comparative offers, why are you asking again here? We are spread all over Germany. Craftsman prices vary widely! Sometimes you're in the mid-range, sometimes you get a high-priced offer. You can only filter it out through your comparative offers.

Also, the way questions are asked is sometimes odd. Example: How much do I have to pay for 10sqm carpet + 20sqm laminate + 30sqm tiles + 40sqm PVC....

How is anyone supposed to know that here? Everything's a muddle right now. First, get a handle on the house provider topic!

I give you my word, if you think you've considered everything, there will still be another 10k€ or more in costs coming your way somewhere.

The time has come... I was hard on myself, but now I'm tearing open the bag of chips! Shall I just reach in? *munching question*

Yes, definitely.

But I have to get something off my chest before I go. Franky hinted in a post how he wishes the cooperation here to be. Namely, we provide him with the info so he has as little effort as possible and doesn’t have to strain his brain. Unfortunately, Katja goes along with it and acts as the draftsman for him. I personally find it really unpleasant how Franky is handling this here.

Find yourself a general contractor or architect who gets paid for this. And study floor plans thoroughly beforehand.

You do have a common thread now.

ByeBye.
