Well, and then come the prices, and they are not taken seriously... Last week it was the kit house without any knowledge of the prices. This year Franky is calculating with "high-quality" materials, laminate and carpet for 25€, calculated his 2500€ over 82sqm (you don't calculate with odd numbers) comes to something like 30€. Where on earth are the baseboards or the glue? Transport of the carpet roll, waste? I think this is no basis for the calculation of a realistic house build. One should first do their homework over weeks, withdraw for now and gather themselves to then check or compare the items later. But I already said that 2-3 times and so I'm out - I think this is the best help Franky can get at the moment. Even the numerous fiddlings bring little if the OP hasn’t even dealt with the layout of the rooms themselves.

I don't need to understand now why my suggestion with the house building blogs without mentioning links or similar was deleted, right?

Hey Franky, how’s it going? How far along are you with your house planning and have you now familiarized yourself with the subject? It’s been 2 months by now!

After wading through the entire thread on Sunday evening, I’m really curious about that too.

Well, quite a bit has happened and we have also had many conversations.

With our sloping plot, we had to make the compromise that a basement would be built into the slope and then another floor added on top with a hip roof.
The alternative would be a 1.5-story single-family house. But then we would have to fill in 2-3 meters because of the slope and then terrace the rest of the plot. With the now chosen option, we are getting a bit more living and usable space (about 85 sqm per floor).
