Bafa funding for heat pumps will be discontinued as of 31.12.2020.

I mean, I officially read it on Twitter. I specifically follow the BAFA there and this question was asked. Without any guarantee, I applied in December just to be safe, you can always waive it. Therefore, I haven't dealt with it any further.

That was my thought too. But wouldn't the waiver trigger a blocking period?

No, as far as I understood the lady, one does not even have to forgo it, the funding must just not be used/opened, since it expires anyway after one year and by expire I mean the claim, as it is a grant after the completion of the measure. That never happens anyway :)

I have now received the approval notice. Applied on 01.12.20 with fictional numbers (the maximum of 50k euros). Now a maximum of 17.5k was approved. I had only uploaded the annual performance factor calculation from Wärmepumpe Punkt de. Of course, I am aware that I still have nothing certain with this. And in our case, it probably won’t work because I presumably can’t reduce the share of heat generation in energy consumption enough to reach the 4.5 annual performance factor. But who knows... at least the theoretical chance is secured. Just for your info, for those still waiting for the notice. You really don’t need anything else for the initial application.

Interesting. No feedback from me yet after applying on 29.11. However, only half fictitious numbers for a possible KNX installation. Although even for that I have, just to be safe, put together a shopping cart at Voltus. That reminds me:

Payment notice received! The heating system was accepted, but the whole smart home stuff was not. Reason is: According to the information sheet, this is not eligible for funding. I tend to think that my bus system (KNX) definitely is eligible for funding. An appeal with all reasons and examples, instructions, etc. was sent today. I'm curious

The notification that this was not funded, yes. But not yet regarding the objection. The BaFa gave me a deadline of one month after receiving the letter to file this mentioned objection. One should specifically justify why one is doing this.
