Also variant A. That’s what our heating specialist just told me on the phone when I asked him whether all costs are now included in the offer (e.g. also the external foundation), since the funding is based on that and is not increased afterwards. Maybe he will also increase the offer amount for the BAFA application.

There has already been a lot of discussion here about the option of applying for a KfW loan next year.

Does anyone know how it works the other way around? This year we applied for and completed a KfW loan 153 for KfW55. Unfortunately, the building permit is currently delayed, so no plumbing company has been selected yet. Can I still apply for the BAFA funding (or under the new name) next year, or should I do it this year in that case?

//edit: I think I have found the answer, probably not:

"No, with a confirmation for the application (BZA), which was created from the KfW online verification tool in 2020, you cannot submit an application to BAFA in 2021."

Oh, I would also be interested in the outcome here. What did you submit for the KNX installation? Components procured yourself and the rest by the electrician? All own work? All outsourced?
Here I am also still unsure how the electrician’s invoice actually has to look. Especially regarding cabling.

After reading three threads and also the 20 pages here, I still have open questions and ask for advice.
We have already integrated the "old/current" KfW 153 module in our signed financing.

The fixed-price contract includes a BAFA-eligible heating system X. The contract is signed. The "commissioning" of the heating installer by the general contractor with specification of the final model, however, only takes place after sampling.

How does this work now with the "model change," or are we already out because of the fixed-price contract?

Because we are actually still torn between split and monoblock air-to-water heat pumps.
Air-to-water heat pump & controlled residential ventilation remain as in the contract, the brand should also remain; it is "only" about the model question of split or monoblock variants.
So the contract states heating system X, but maybe we will take heating system Y.

1) BAFA application with heating system X or heating system Y?
2) Controlled residential ventilation with heat recovery, same brand, "compatible together," but we do not have a KNX/BUS system. Is controlled residential ventilation still eligible for funding?
3) Must the offer be from the company that ultimately executes it (i.e., the heating installer commissioned by our general contractor), or can we obtain an offer independently regardless?

Thanks in advance for your answers  :D

1) Yes, first an application with an eligible WP, if kroch expensive no matter which, otherwise the more expensive one 2) same brand is not enough, must run through a common control/regulation. Be sure to clarify this with the GU. 3) Offer from GU. Invoice later as well. Heating engineer must then fill out the specialist contractor declaration after execution

Thank you for the quick response. We will write directly to the general contractor! Are Viessmann devices which are jointly controlled via the Vitotronic 200. Signed fixed-price contract no problem? Or does a "rule" arise from this as to whether heating system X or Y must be applied for?
