It worked for me now too. KNX was interestingly not a problem at all. They discussed the window contacts a bit and then crossed them out. But it wasn't a problem because I had already reached the max 17.5k anyway.

Hello everyone,

I have a question about the BAFA funding. I would like to submit an application for the heating measure package this year (2022) and then start implementation next year in April 2023. At the beginning of next year (2023), I would like to apply for another measure package (insulation) from my ISFP and implement it at the same time (April 2023). My question now concerns the maximum eligible costs of €60,000 per calendar year. Since the heating measure package is applied for this year and the insulation measure package in 2023, theoretically there are €120,000 in eligible costs. Is that correct? Does anyone have real experience with this approach? Or is the invoice date of the measure decisive for the maximum eligible costs?

Well, I will also argue in parallel with the wood crisis and the whole KFW funding chaos. That caused several months of planning standstill for us. Now we are fully entering the winter when nothing can be done with screed anymore. An earlier construction start would of course have been detrimental to KFW funding. In the end, we still stand without funding, and BAFA is our last straw. Nobody can blame you for wanting to secure the higher KFW funding and therefore sticking to the requirements.

The planned start was summer '21 because the development was supposed to be completed then. However, they didn't manage the power lines and transformer connection. So the electricity only arrived on our street in October. Construction then started at the end of November.

Do you feel like we do? The first statement (November '20) was that we could start building in June. The development was then completed in September, by the time the surveyor could retrieve something, it was the end of October, and by the time the general contractor finished the building application, it was the end of November... But of course, this changes nothing about the fundamental problem that the first three quarters had absolutely nothing to do with supply difficulties for heat pumps.

I would like to add here: we are currently renovating and it looks like all invoices will be dated in 2023. We have already submitted the application for individual building envelope measures in August (before the reduction to 15%), and now we are gradually receiving the relevant offers from the heating specialist and electrician for the heat pump.

The heat pump costs all-in (heat pump, new pipes, new radiators, etc.) possibly over €60,000, on which there is then a 35% subsidy. Can we then still have the individual building envelope measures subsidized in 2023 beyond that? What do we do if the heat pump costs €50,000 – do we then submit invoices totaling €10,000 for the building envelope measures?

Or can both subsidies be combined – I read somewhere about a combination possibility as long as the subsidized measures do not exceed more than 60% of the total investment?
