Bafa funding for heat pumps will be discontinued as of 31.12.2020.

You have to upload the calculation of the annual performance factor (Jahresarbeitszahl).

My general contractor did the calculation for me, and I only had to upload the annual performance factor report + the heating installer’s offer. That way, the application took less than 5 minutes.

Does anyone know how long the processing takes? I submitted the application about an hour ago and have already received the confirmation of receipt + the process number, but I will probably have to wait a few weeks for the decision? Or does it take months?

Can the annual performance factor report also be signed by the general contractor or does it have to be signed by a heating technician? Are there also people here who have attached the annual performance factor calculation without a signature to the BAFA application and it was still approved?

And does anyone know if the subsequent removal of the ventilation system after the BAFA application has been submitted leads to a new application (and thus to rejection because of the deadline on 31.12.) or if the installation of a (different) heat pump without a ventilation system only has to be indicated in the proof of use and the funding is still granted.

On the BAFA site I only found the following about this:
"As long as it is the same funding segment, it is sufficient if the installation of the other eligible system is proven within the framework of the proof of use. Consequently, in this case, the submitted application does not have to be adjusted as this is done in the proof of use. However, the new system must also be an eligible system.
But: If the decision for another eligible system would lead to an increase in the approved funding amount, the applicant must file an objection against the funding notice within the objection period and communicate all changes in it.

If the decision for another eligible system leads to a change of the funding segment - e.g. biomass system instead of heat pump - a new application must be submitted. This also applies if a regenerative heat generator is dropped in EE hybrid heating systems (e.g. solar thermal system and heat pump applied and after the funding notice only the heat pump is to be realized) or if the regenerative heat generator is changed in gas hybrid heating systems (e.g. gas condensing boiler with heat pump applied and after the funding notice gas condensing boiler with solar is to be realized)."

Is it therefore a change of the funding segment if I change from heat pump + controlled residential ventilation with heat recovery to only heat pump?

I took the annual performance factor calculation from the Wolf homepage. According to the general contractor, a signature was not necessary. The application then also passed without any objections. We only had an informal estimate from the general contractor about how much it would cost. No written offer with all items.

Great, thanks a lot for the info. Good to know already ;) Were the invoices for the BAFA as proof issued by your general contractor (GU) or by the heating installer? I also read that the developer's certificate can be used for this, as there are usually only a few partial invoices with GUs. And who issued the specialist contractor declaration? Thanks :)

However, my application was also submitted by the installer in connection with the Vaillant funding service (as mentioned a few times earlier in this thread).
