Bafa funding for heat pumps will be discontinued as of 31.12.2020.

A loan of €150,000 is only available from July. Until then, €120,000. 25% means a grant of €37,500 for the former, €30,000 for the latter. Bafa is still available until the end of December. Funding of 35% up to €50,000 heat pump system costs, corresponding to €17,500. You need to read in a bit more for details.

How much do you get now? 150,000 € as a loan from KfW and how high is the repayment subsidy?

So this thread is primarily about the Bafa subsidy (35% of 50k for heat pumps and accessories).

For the KFW, the repayment subsidy refers to the 120k€ loan. What is coming on July 1st is called BEG as far as I know.

For KFW40+: Currently: BAFA (35% up to max 50k) + 30k KFW153 01/21-06/21: 30k KFW153 From 07/21: 37.5k KFW153

How much do you get now?

The grant refers to the maximum funding amount, so for 40+
until 30.06.2021 €120,000
From 01.07.2021, if renewable energies are used or certain sustainability aspects are achieved, the funding amount can be increased by €30,000. However, there is apparently no more detailed information on this yet.

So from 01.07.2021 there are the following possibilities:
25% of €150,000 = €37,500.
25% of €120,000 = €30,000.

The latter is already available now.

Nothing is one hundred percent certain yet regarding the new KfW funding. It will surely be negotiated back and forth again next year, and whether we end up with a 25% repayment bonus or 27.5% remains to be seen.

The important thing is, you have to finance the entire amount upfront. So if the catalog says 500,000 - 34,000€ KfW grant, you still need to get the 500,000 minus equity from the banks (KfW and main financier) and also pay interest on it.
