Strange. KfW told me that 40 Plus works, only EE and NH do not. Of course, the costs must not overlap.

Yes, KfW told me that back then as well. However, in my opinion, that contradicts itself.

For 40Plus, you need a heat pump system, which is also subsidized by BAfA. Ergo: Not allowed double funding.

Therefore, old BAfA can only be combined with 40 or 55; optionally with NH.

But the NH package is very difficult to achieve for a single-family house. So far, there are only a few single-family house manufacturers that have a series certification for the NH package.

Considering the current development of construction costs, it is currently most lucrative for us to build KfW55 and take advantage of the old BAfA subsidy.

Is there actually anything to consider when making payments for the combination of BAFA and KFW153? I think I read once that the heating system is not allowed to be paid with KFW153 funds if it is simultaneously subsidized by BAFA. Is that false information or correct? How would that work if you are building with a general contractor and progress payments usually include several things?

As long as it is not, for example, kfw55 EE, it is harmless. We receive the grant from kfw 55 (€18,000) + BAFA (35% for ground-source heat pump + controlled residential ventilation + tempering ground-source heat pump).

It should not be a problem.
After completion of the construction work or commissioning of the heating system, BAFA must be provided by the general contractor/heating installer with a confirmation of execution according to the requirements. Likewise, the general contractor will have to issue a cost overview for the heating system. At least that is my understanding so far.
