It is probably advisable. Definitely pay attention to the topic of commitment fees, depending on when the first excavator is supposed to roll at your place. Either negotiate a longer interest period in or bite the bullet and pay the commitment fees. You have to calculate in each individual case what will be cheaper.

Asked again by phone at the KfW, as my energy consultant did not have the answer ready.

Bafa applied for until 31.12.2020 and approval received is only combinable with KFW55 until 30.06.2021, so 35% of 50,000€ + 18,000€ of 120,000€ -> approx. 36,000€ From 01.07.2021 only 17.5% of 150,000€. -> 26,000€

Ground source heat pump is absolutely worthwhile, so better only with KFW until 30.06.2021

I recently also spoke with the KfW hotline. For 40+, the application submitted in 2020 for heating can be combined with the new funding from 01.07, if the heating is excluded from the KfW loan. However, the lady could not tell me whether I can extend my Bafa application. Within the set deadline, it currently seems critical for us to be able to put the heat pump into operation...

Would also be interesting for me. Ours runs until mid-January, but whether the heat pump will be operational by then... I don't think so. Email to BAFA also remained unanswered.

You have to do the calculation differently! Combining is something else than double funding, the max. €50k you have to repay with another loan anyway, otherwise you end up with nothing at all, absolutely keep that in mind!

They told me 31.06., otherwise no more combinations possible, because BAFA funds are included in the 153 from 1.7 onward. Makes sense, everything else would be too good to be true :)

Exactly, the best is the combo BAFA + KfW 153 until 31.6. In my example, that’s €30k repayment for KfW 40 plus + €17,500 repayment + 40% refund for battery storage through NBank and of course another €4000 repayment for the energy consultant. Can’t get any better ...

Do I have to get this confirmed in writing by the KfW? I specifically called because of the combination and was told that it is possible for KfW 40+ after 01.07 – but only there... For 55 and 40 it is covered by the EE class...
