Bafa funding for heat pumps will be discontinued as of 31.12.2020.

So, I called BAFA today and asked for my application number. At first, my heart stopped because the lady said she couldn't find anything under my data. After searching for 5 minutes, we realized that it is filed under the construction site.

With the reference number, I have now applied for an extension using the text from and through the contact form. Let's see what comes of it.

Great that it comes up... I also have to extend in the spring. Does anyone know if an application for BAFA can still be combined with KfW 261? I had in mind that it might be possible, but if it is not, I can save myself the extension.

This is stated on the BAFA website: Cumulative funding with other subsidies for the same eligible costs is generally possible, provided that the sum of loans, grants, and allowances does not exceed the amount of the eligible costs. Cumulative funding with a subsidy from the KfW programs established within the framework of the CO2 Building Renovation Program is only possible with the KfW programs "Energy-Efficient Construction" (program number 153) and "Energy-Efficient Renovation – Supplementary Loan" (program number 167).

Don't give up immediately, at least ask ...

It's not a renovation program but a new construction program ;) So it should still be okay, then I'll get that extended as well

According to the website, only the aforementioned two KfW programs can be combined. But asking doesn't cost anything..
