Can one "safely" try to obtain the Bafa funding? We will sign our purchase contract in January, the heating system is already decided. However, the house builder has a 19-month delivery time (the time is then of course very tight, but theoretically doable with 12+12 months). Could the Bafa application conflict with the new KfW funding, or could the KfW be rejected due to the Bafa attempt?

As of now, you cannot combine the old Bafa application and the new KfW funding (from 01.07.21).
Therefore, you will probably have to decide either to apply for the old Bafa and KfW funding by 30.06 and possibly pay commitment fees, or from 01.07.2021 only KfW funding.

Then you can wait anyway to see exactly how the new KfW subsidy will be designed. For us, it’s a bit more interesting because the area is currently being developed and we wanted to start as soon as possible afterward. We will then have to see at some point whether it’s worth delaying everything by a few weeks to get the new KfW subsidy. Especially 55 plus photovoltaics sounds very attractive since the former is still quite affordable to achieve and the latter is a given for me. I also submitted a BAFA application yesterday as a precaution even though we haven’t yet decided on the construction company, let alone the specific heat pump. It must be submitted explicitly before commissioning, so withdrawing it later shouldn’t be a problem.

Hello Rodgers,
may I ask what the key data of the entries are?

I have now done the same, with the following data: costs €22,500 + ancillary costs €14,300. (Viessmann with 5.76kW)
Unfortunately, it is quite difficult to get any offers anymore, as everyone is fully booked and waiting times of several weeks are being mentioned.

Briefly about our key data:
Single-family house, city villa, living area 171m2, solar thermal (possibly heat recovery) + heating, individual trade contract award, KS + WDVS KFW 55, planned by architect, groundbreaking March/April '21 --> 15min from the new or THE Tesla factory. :)

Hmm, actually there are no additional costs for a new building with WP. See [Merkblatt]. They are all installation costs...
