We are speculating on a plot of land in a new development area that will go on sale in January. So we do not have an address or parcel number. However, a parcel number must be provided in the Bafa application – if it differs from the current residential address. Do you see any possibility to still submit an application here? Or is it impossible?

There should be a parcel number for the entire new development area. I would simply provide that. We did the same following the recommendation of the funding experts who apply for the funding on our behalf (Vaillant funding service).

Joint control (as a Bafa requirement to deduct both) does not mean that it has to be a combined device.

In the original contract with the general contractor, it only said "heat pump as a split device." We only selected the exact model during the sample selection.
We then submitted the application shortly after the sample selection appointment, but before we had signed the protocol / new offer. (Automatically also before the general contractor had issued an order to the heating installer).
Therefore, the correct air-to-water heat pump was listed in the BAFA application from the beginning.

Oh, I see. For example, we have the Vaillant Arotherm and Vaillant RecoVair, which are fundamentally independent of each other. They are subsequently combined via a BUS system so that the controlled residential ventilation is also eligible for subsidies.

That sounds more reasonable to me than installing a monster device that ends up with huge replacement costs. I still need to follow up with the companies, but I almost suspect that switching to 2 devices will be similarly affordable as a monster with [BAFA Förderung].
