A lot of people are getting very hectic right now. But where does it say that heat pumps are no longer supposed to be subsidized for new buildings? In the FAQ, regarding the question of what is eligible for BEG EM funding, it says:
and also regarding the question whether anything changes in the conditions:
Nowhere does it say that new buildings are no longer eligible for funding in relation to renewable energies for heating? Can someone please clarify for me where I can find the information that energy-efficient heating systems in new buildings are supposed to be excluded from funding?
As part of BEG EM, from 01.01.2021 the following individual measures are subsidized with the following grants:
[*]Measures on the building envelope (e.g. insulation of exterior walls, roof surfaces, replacement of doors and windows): 20 percent
[*]System technology (e.g. installation and replacement or optimization of ventilation systems, installation of digital systems for consumption optimization): 20 percent
[*]Renewable energies for heating (e.g. heat pumps, biomass systems, hybrid heating systems or solar thermal systems): 20 to 45 percent
[*]Measures for heating optimization (e.g. hydraulic balancing including replacement of heating pumps): 20 percent
[*]Specialist planning and construction supervision in connection with an individual measure: 50 percent
and also regarding the question whether anything changes in the conditions:
The funding program "Heating with Renewable Energies" at BAFA, through which parts of the Market Incentive Program (MAP) are implemented, will be discontinued at the end of 2020 and replaced by the new Federal Funding for Efficient Buildings (BEG), there the BEG EM subprogram, with the same subsidy rates.
