I understood the information sheets the same way and therefore inquired at BAFA both by email and several times by phone about how I can provide proof of smart home. The result was always the same: All the employees I spoke to said that this is not possible for a new build...

However, I remember that had to file an objection twice, I think, but it was ultimately paid. He then summarized for Bafa again how the specified sensors and actuators ultimately support the heating control. Lighting does not count, but otherwise you can come up with a good story for many components. Even window contacts which actually have no effect on a sluggish underfloor heating system. The invoice must either list the individual prices of the components or your electrician must add a sentence stating the total amount of the eligible costs.
