They probably always do it in such a way that they apply for funding for 50,000 EUR. I assume that BAfA probably does not request offers, otherwise they wouldn't do it like that.
I cannot confirm that, at least not in my case via the funding service. In my case, the anticipated actual costs were applied for.
However, one can probably distinguish two scenarios with the funding service.
A. Commissioning by a heating specialist company
Intermediation of a specialist company, which also commissions the funding service.
B. Direct commissioning.
I cannot say anything about B, as in my case scenario A applies.
Which scenario applied to you I obviously do not know. However, if it was also scenario A, the heating specialist company could have submitted an offer of 50,000 € to the funding service, or the installer always states it that way.
I would only find it an interesting approach if the funding service always entered 50,000 € on their own initiative, since they themselves cannot then write an offer to the customer afterwards if BAFA indeed requests it. The possibility of such a request is communicated transparently.
