Yes, that is also my impression. You can’t endlessly cook the numbers. Another heating system isn’t worth the extra cost.

But again: does no one roughly know the proportion of hot water in an air-to-water heat pump? :)

You are right, it says so in the [Merkblatt zum Check].

Hello everyone!

Here I have to ask again for better understanding.
In our case, we originally signed the work contract with a different heating system (< annual performance factor 4.5) and only much later retroactively included the Vaillant with an annual performance factor of 4.5, as the house provider advertised a promotion. In other words, to include the eligible pump for "a small" additional cost, including the Vaillant funding service, etc.
All planning and calculations (including controlled residential ventilation) are basically still pending, so I had assumed so far that I would receive the corresponding documents for the funding applications at a later date.

, do you mean that formally we are already too late for the BAFA application!? That would be bad...
At what point should I otherwise have submitted the application..., after all, without a signed work contract I do not receive any further calculations and documents about it...!?

Well. You just didn’t quote the next sentence where I addressed exactly that case ;)

It’s not so easy at all, and you find a lot of contradictory information. Because each case is somewhat different.

But as I understand it now, with a general contractor it's a special case. Then for the BAFA application, the commissioning of the heating engineer by the general contractor counts.

If you have the Vaillant funding service, I would contact them directly.

At this point, I would like to remind you again of my question: how high is the proportion of hot water in your total heating energy consumption for those who already have a calculation or already live in the house with an air-to-water heat pump?

For me, 18% was calculated.
4.6 for heating, 3.8 for water heating.
So, mathematically 4.456, and apparently that is sufficient for BAFA for 4.5.
