Slowly but surely, I have the quiet suspicion that we have different appliance sizes in Switzerland. For a long time, our appliances were only 55cm wide and not 60cm. My dishwasher now has a front of 63cm under the control panel. If I now combine a 40cm and a 20cm front with the ordered strips, it should work without any problems. Our kitchen from 1982 has a 10cm baseboard with a 77cm carcass and a 4cm countertop, resulting in a total height of 91cm. Now we are working with an 8cm, at best 10cm baseboard (depending on how high I can go with the ceiling rebuild), an 80cm carcass, and a 4cm countertop. So between 92-94cm working height. You can check my photos, I have posted photos of the still existing kitchen [photos]. Sorry, but I am too dumb, stupid, or my brain just hasn’t arrived enough in the digital age to insert them into my posts.

I assumed a 72 cm carcass for the old kitchen. If you now have 77 cm, then you need 3 cm more space with METOD. Measure with the door open whether there is still 3 cm of space between the lower edge of the front and the dishwasher base. then it should work, otherwise not.

Man man man thanks a lot Ikea expert now I have also understood where the problem is the bottom side of the front touches the dishwasher housing when the dishwasher is fully open yes that gets tight. I am now almost flush with the front. therefore it should be solvable with the ERSÄTTARE you mentioned if I understood correctly, then the front swings slightly more under the dishwasher instead of directly against the dishwasher

What kind of strange patent is that? Do I now have to cut up my beautiful Bodbyn fronts so I can fold them like that? That simply won’t work. I’d rather install the dishwasher lower so that the bottom edge of the front lines up. That would solve this problem, leaving only a gap at the control panel above that would still need to be filled. I’d prefer a 1-2 cm gap at the top rather than cutting up my beautiful fronts, and the 20 cm part going down doesn’t work visually because the waste drawer below is a 40 cm field and above are two 20 cm fields.

That would then be the Stefan solution for [teilintegrierte Spülmaschine].
