Dishwasher fronts

I just checked on our old kitchen how the front on the dishwasher is mounted. ours is fixed on and swings underneath the machine at the bottom near the slightly lowered toe kick.

now I would like to post photos about it, but I'm not dumb enough to manage that

What is the front height of the old kitchen? As long as the front height fits the dishwasher, there is no problem anyway. With Metod, the front is now 80cm high and that causes a problem for many dishwashers because they are not made for it. Regards Section Chief

It is an Electrolux Swissline SL. with a 40x60, 20x60 and a small strip it works without problems. The control panel is not on the front edge but on the front. The control panel itself is about 13cm, so I only need a smooth drawer front of 10cm to bridge the missing 7 cm. So according to my calculations and those of Ikea, it should work this way. Our kitchen will be built anyway with some custom-made parts and adjustments.

The 40x60 front or 20x60 if below, will protrude so far beyond the dishwasher door that it can no longer swing under the dishwasher. Therefore, there are ERSÄTTARE for semi-integrated devices.

although I still don’t understand why the front is not supposed to fit under the dishwasher anymore. it still works with our old kitchen. I even have to fit in a small strip just to match the size of the old front. since the waste chute is next to the dishwasher, I would put the fronts together like the waste chute. bottom 40x60 top 20x60. otherwise it looks totally sh...

I guess you now have a 13 cm high control panel and below it a 59 cm high front. With METOD it would be 67 cm below the control panel. So far, for example, 10 cm of the front swing under the appliance, but with METOD it would have to be 18 cm, for which there is no space available.
