Is the problem occurring with both machines? What does the "not quite smooth" look like? Does VAGLIG have to be used there?

I don’t know to what extent this part can be attached to other machines but I think it is a good alternative to the Ikea ERSÄTTARE solution, which in my opinion is not very attractive.

Hello, unfortunately, there is no further information about the folding hinge. Are there minimum or maximum dimensions for the folding front? How is the installation carried out? The price is quite steep for such simple sheet metal parts. If anyone has used the hinge, please report.

The problem always occurs when the front is mounted directly. The individual parts must be connected together to form one front. It is not absolutely necessary to use VAGLIG, but then you have to come up with something to make the connection. If you screw on VAGLIG, the back of the front is no longer smooth. However, the brackets for mounting are designed so that the front rests against the dishwasher door. It will therefore be necessary to place something of the thickness of VAGLIG under the brackets.
